Photograph Photographs is a body of work that explores the relationship between materiality and photography works.

Images always need to be attached to the surface of the material to be visually perceived and to be significant. In the practice of contemporary art photography, the content and materialization of photographs present a relationship of complicity and duality. This relationship constructs the way we perceive the work and its meaning.

The body of work is three appropriations of existing photographic works. They are taken out of their original physical context and placed into a process or state of new materialization. The intention is to transform virtual viewing into an interactive behaviour between subjective consciousness and the content of works. This can be seen as an attempt to extend perception, as well as a rumination on the act of viewing in a time of dematerialization.
